She Who Talks to Animals at Motovun Film Festival

The short film She Who Talks to Animals directed by Dana Budisavljević, created as a part of the documentary serial “Changing the World” will be screened at this year’s Motovun Film Festival.

She Who Talks to Animals is a story about a wonderful Istrian farm inhabited by Hela and her family – fifty goats, two cows, two horses, a donkey named Blanka and a Vietnamese pig Roža. Hela has always dreamed about a farm where only happy animals would live, about animal breeding that will not be a business and exploitation but a coexistence with nature. Several years ago she abandoned urban living and her job as a nurse in order to live her dream in a small Istrian village of Šumber, regardless of all the difficulties her farming life brings.
